My family here in Buffalo is myself and my wife who, incidentally, is Japanese. We enjoy the four seasons in Buffalo and we are also big Sabres fans!

My old friend from Japan (who now lives in London) came to visit us in Chicago. When the Japanese watch baseball (usually at home, over TV) it's beer time, of course, but the preferred snack is edamame (soy beans) rather than peanuts. In this case we even took edamame to Wrigley field! Go Cubs, go!!!

My daughter Marina lives back in Moscow. She turned 17 in July this year. I think she is very cute!
